About Cumbre Family Missions
The Looby family incorporated Cumbre Family Missions as a non-profit charitable organization in 2023 to support their family's full-time mission work in Honduras. After spending a year and a half in Central America, they are now based back in the U.S., but continue to run the non-profit organization in order to support the people and programs they worked with in Central America. Instead of supporting their family as volunteers, 100% of donations now support their projects on the ground in Honduras, specifically in the areas of education and food insecurity.
Through the generosity of their benefactors, they have been able to sponsor specific students to continue their education past 9th grade. By partnering with Operation Backpack Honduras, Cumbre Family Missions has provided backpacks, school supplies, school uniforms, transportation, and childcare for sponsored students. In the area of food insecurity, Cumbre has provided temporary food relief for countless needy families, as well as funding a large Christmas Food Basket project through the sale of locally hand-carved Christmas ornaments. In 2025, they will begin raising funds specifically for a feeding station for children in the area of Trujillo, Colin, Honduras. Stay tuned for updates and thank you for your support of these critical programs!
